With spring brings new activities and more opportunities to travel and be outdoors. Leech Lake offers a vast amount of activities to choose from like golf, fishing, hiking, biking, boating, sailing. So much family fun!<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Leech Lake Activities To Get You Outside This Spring<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">1. Golf: \u00a0Leech Lake has four wonderful golf courses to choose from.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.longbowgolfclub.com\/\">LongBow Golf Club<\/a>, an 18-hole golf course which is open to the public.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tianna.com\/\">Tianna Country Club<\/a>, located 2 miles south on Hwy 34, Tianna is also open to the public.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/moonlightonleech.com\/golf\/\">Moonlight Bay Golf Course<\/a> where both experienced and beginner golfers are welcome! Moonlight Bay Golf Course is a nine-hole par 28 and are located 5 miles north of walker.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">2. \u00a0\u00a0Hiking and Biking: Leech Lake offers so many trails to choose from you won\u2019t know where to start. Check out:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dnr.state.mn.us\/state_trails\/heartland\/index.html\">Heartland Trail<\/a>, located just south of Walker which is one of the oldest paved trails in Minnesota\u2019s North woods. It offers breathtaking views and a hiker\u2019s paradise.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dnr.state.mn.us\/state_trails\/paul_bunyan\/index.html\">Paul Bunyan State Recreational Trail<\/a>, \u00a0an easy going trail that offers beautiful scenery.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">3. Fishing and Boating: Leech Lake in Cass County is about 112,000 surface acres and 150 feet in depth at its deepest point, although a majority of the lake is roughly 35 feet deep.
