Not only is the Heartland Trail aptly named for a Valentine\u2019s Day adventure, it is also a wonderful place for adventurous couples looking to brave the cold for some exercise and fun. If you are fortunate enough to have a few days of mild weather, you can choose between a paved path or a mountain path for all-terrain bikes. However, if you visit during heavy snowfall, you can also rent a snowmobile for large segments of the trail. 20 miles of trail are snowmobile accessible, and rentals are available nearby. The trail runs from the town of Walker to Park Rapids \u2013 a beautiful 49-mile journey.<\/p>\n
