If there\u2019s one thing we can say about summer on Leech Lake it\u2019s that tourism is back and we are here for it!<\/span><\/p>\n

Leech Lake has seen unprecedented numbers this year in our local Walker business community, at our resorts and on the lake. We\u2019re soaking up the rest of the summer sun on our clear blue waters and we hope you enjoy this last run of summer just as much as we are.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We also extend our deepest gratitude to all of the Walker, MN employees who have worked so hard and tirelessly this tourism season. Many local businesses are experiencing an employment shortage right now, so please know that if you love Leech Lake enough to stay, there are plenty of jobs in Walker!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you to those who visit Leech Lake for your patience as our businesses have worked with shorter staff and more visitors. Patience and kindness not only go a long way, but both can make or break a great Minnesota stay.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re a returning visitor to Leech Lake, we appreciate you sticking it through with us through one tough year as well as a comeback. We survived last year\u2019s tourism season with our regional visitors who needed a shorter drive to get out of the house, and we could not thank you enough for choosing Leech Lake as your destination.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To our new Leech Lake visitors, thank you for choosing us as your destination, whether that\u2019s for Leech Lake fishing, the shopping in Walker, our trails, a vacation, a weekend or all of the above!
