Report from the Dock<\/h3>\n

The weather has been unusually nice throughout the past week, but the number of people fishing continues to drop. The diehard walleye and muskie anglers are going out and they are experiencing decent success with few other anglers around them. Walleyes are mainly being taken with minnows or horizontal baits such as Jiggin\u2019 Raps on deep structure or shallower, shoreline areas \u2013 just depends on the lake. The state\u2019s muskie bite continues to be a bit off, but water temperatures remain relatively warm across the state, so that likely is limiting muskie activity.\u00a0Panfish\u00a0and\u00a0bass\u00a0fishing reports were almost nonexistent this week.<\/p>\n

Leech Lake<\/h3>\n

Fishing activity has been limited, but a few walleyes are being taken with minnows in Agency Bay, Walker Bay, and on main lake structure in 14 to 18 feet. There has been a few muskie anglers out, but the bite has been slow. Most anglers are working a mixture of weed and rock with large sucker minnows in less than 12 feet. Duck hunters aren\u2019t seeing much for new birds, grouse hunting remains decent, and most people have continued to prepare for the deer season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
