Report from the Dock<\/h2>\n

Anglers continued to do well across the state as the calendar flipped to June. <\/span>There seems to be something happening everywhere, with solid walleye, panfish, bass, and pike reports from most areas this week. There were even a few decent muskie reports from last weekend\u2019s opener.<\/span><\/p>\n

Walleyes continue to hit minnows, although leeches, nightcrawlers, and crankbaits have started to produce more fish as well. There are still some really consistent shallow-water walleye bites, especially early and late each day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other reports indicate that walleyes have started to move slightly deeper and relate to main-lake structure or emerging weed lines. Bluegill action remains strong, mostly around docks or shorelines as they wrap up their spawn, while crappies in most areas have now headed to the weeds as well. <\/span>You\u2019ll find bass along inside and outside weed edges, and northern pike seem to be hitting anything thrown at them.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Leech Lake Report<\/h2>\n

The main-lake, 12- to 14-foot rocks, such as the southeast side of Pelican Island, Mokie\u2019s Reef, the east side of the Trench, and Two Points are producing walleyes on a jig and shiner minnow. The 12- to 18-foot breaks in Walker Bay started giving up a few more walleyes on a leech or piece of crawler under a bobber. You\u2019ll find bluegills in the reeds throughout most bays, smallmouth bass on the shallow rocks or just off them, and largemouth bass in the cabbage throughout Sucker Bay.<\/p>\n
